Overview
Randy has been with AHP since its inception in 1993 when he started as a senior accountant. He began his career with Ernst & Whinney in Little Rock, Ark. and transferred to the Saginaw and Lansing offices of Ernst & Young in 1992. Randy earned his position as partner in 2001.
In addition to being a leader in the firm’s financial institution practice, Randy has extensive experience providing audit, accounting, and advisory services to entities in many industries, including colleges and universities, governmental entities, not-for-profit organizations, and closely-held businesses.
He serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, Audit Committee, and Professional Standards Committee, and he is the partner in charge of the Compilation Committee, Allinial Global, and AHP Financial Services. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant® (CGMA®) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
Professional Education
Randy graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science.
In the Community
Randy serves on the MICPA Financial Institution Task Force, the AICPA Financial Institutions Expert Panel, PKF International’s Financial Institution Task Force, and the Community Banking Advisor editorial committee. Randy is also actively involved with the Michigan Bankers Association and the Community Bankers of Michigan.
