Financial Institutions

AHP provides a broad range of accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to financial institutions. We proudly partner with institutions throughout the state of Michigan, the Midwest, and beyond.

We take pride in serving community banks, trust banks, credit unions, and credit union service organizations, and publicly traded banks. Our services are customized to meet your needs and include collaboration with your leadership teams. Because the cost of maintaining a full-time, in-house audit staff can be very expensive, many financial institutions look to us for essential, cost-effective internal and compliance audit services. With extensive industry experience, Certified Regulatory Compliance Managers (CRCMs) on staff, and the ability to provide highly trained service professionals on every engagement, you can count on us to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

Our industry involvement.

AHP is involved in several financial institutions organizations, including being a founding member of Banking CPAs, a nationwide affiliation of independently owned accounting firms committed to delivering exceptional financial and consulting services to the community banking industry. Our industry leaders are active members of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) Financial Institutions Member Resource Group, a collaborative professional network for CPAs and finance experts that focuses on industry insights, peer connections, and regulatory updates specific to the banking and finance sectors, and the Mid-Michigan Banking Group, a networking and educational outlet for banks across Michigan.

We are proud to be contributing editors to the Community Banking Advisor, a quarterly publication featuring industry insights, risk management strategies, and regulatory updates. In addition, AHP is regularly featured in industry publications, presents at industry conferences, and participates in numerous other industry events.

Be sure to check out the current edition of Community Banking Advisor and subscribe to receive it right to your inbox quarterly.
