Overview
John Kraft became a partner at AHP in November 2025 through the merger with Hofstra, Bott & Kraft, P.C. (HBK). Operating out of AHP’s Traverse City office, his focus remains on maintaining strong client relationships and leveraging AHP’s broader capacity to help local businesses grow and navigate complex financial decisions.
John began his career in 1997 as a Staff Accountant with HBK (formerly Schepers & Hofstra, PC). He was promoted to Manager in 2008 and became a Partner in 2019. John delivers trusted accounting, tax, and strategic advisory services to individuals and closely-held businesses throughout the region. He has extensive experience in tax compliance and planning, business sales and acquisitions, and providing reviews and compilations. His expertise spans industries such as restaurant & hospitality, wineries, healthcare service, construction, and many other sectors.
John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
