Chris Bott joined AHP in November 2025 following the merger of Hofstra, Bott & Kraft, P.C. (HBK), establishing the firm’s Traverse City presence. By pairing his deep regional expertise with AHP’s expanded capacity and statewide network, he continues to deliver the same specialized, high-value guidance his clients have relied on for decades.
Bringing over 30 years of dedicated service to Northwest Michigan, Chris specializes in comprehensive tax planning and preparation services for individuals, closely held businesses, estates, and trusts. He brings specialized expertise to dental and medical practices, real estate developers, agricultural operations, and clients navigating the sale of conservation easements.
Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), and the Estate Planning Council of Grand Traverse.
Professional Education
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in business (accountancy) from Ferris State University and a Master of Science – taxation from Grand Valley State University.
