Overview
Carrie joined AHP in 2003 after five years of prior experience with Michigan-based CPA firms and has built expertise serving closely held businesses and individuals through business tax, personal tax, trust and estate taxation, gift tax compliance, and tax consulting services. Her work centers on helping clients interpret complex tax regulations, structure plans that support long‑term financial stability, and implement solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and strategic decision‑making.
Carrie is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, reflecting her technical in estate planning and the tax practice. She contributes to the profession through active involvement in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the MICPA State and Local Task Force, and the Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council. These affiliations keep her closely connected to statewide and national tax policy developments and reinforce her commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
Within AHP, Carrie serves on the Executive Committee.

Carrie is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting.
