Michael has over 20 years of public accounting experience and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). His areas of expertise include tax compliance and planning for small businesses in various industries, including medical, real estate, and manufacturing.
Michael joined AHP in 2018 as a senior manager. Previously, he worked for over 17 years at Maginnis & Carey LLP, UHY Advisors, and Stephen A. Midcalf, CPA.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Northwood University in 2002.
Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He is a member of the Genesee Valley Rotary Club and a member of the AHP tax committee. Michael is the former Vice President of the Shiawassee Goodfellows, and a former member of the Kiwanis Club of Owosso.
