Overview
Mike joined AHP in 2018, bringing with him 15 years of prior public accounting experience from firms in Michigan and Oregon. As a tax partner, he provides expertise in tax compliance and tax planning for individuals and small businesses across industries including medical, real estate, and manufacturing. His work emphasizes helping clients navigate complex tax requirements and achieve long‑term financial stability.
Mike is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and ongoing engagement with the accounting community.
Professional Education
Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Northwood University in 2002.
In the Community
Mike is active in the Genesee Valley Rotary Club and is President for the 2026–2027 club year. He is also an active member of the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as Vice President of the Shiawassee Goodfellows and was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Owosso.
