Mark is a founding member of Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC (AHP). He is a former tax partner with Ernst & Young and has more than 46 years of industry experience.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

Mark joined the Lansing office of Ernst & Young in 1976 and was promoted to partner in 1987. In 1993, he joined with two other Ernst & Young partners to form AHP and has been serving the Greater Lansing area since.

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

Mark graduated from the Honors College at Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Mark is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He has held numerous leadership positions including serving as board chair of the Capital Region Community Foundation and Ele’s Place, member and president of the Rotary Club of Lansing and the Rotary Club of Lansing Foundation, a board member of Auto Owners Insurance Group, a Fortune 500 company, and board chair of ONL Therapeutics, Inc, a drug development company. Mark was paid a special tribute at the 2010 Entrepreneurial Awards of Greater Lansing for serving as chief judge since its inception in 1994 with the Founders Business Advocate award. He was recognized as a recipient of the MSU Alumni Service Award, and was named Alumnus of the Year from the MSU’s Department of Accounting and Information Systems.
