News Release: Mulders Named Managing Partner

Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC (AHP) is pleased to announce that William Mulders Jr., CPA, CVA has been named managing partner.

Mulders assumes the position from Kim Pavlik, CPA, who has served as managing partner for the firm since 2002.

Mulders has 28 years of industry experience and began his career with Ernst & Young. He joined AHP in 1993 and was promoted to partner in 1994. He specializes in corporate and individual income tax as well as entrepreneurial services. He manages numerous review and compilation engagements with substantial experience in reporting requirements and tax planning. His corporate clients are in various industries including financial institutions, construction, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, transportation, agribusiness, and service. Mulders is also a Certified Valuation Analyst and leads the AHP business valuation practice.

Pavlik has over 34 years of experience in serving accounting and tax clients. He joined the Saginaw office of Ernst & Young in 1977 and was promoted to tax partner in 1990. In 1993, he joined with two other Ernst & Young partners to form Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC. He has assisted clients with tax planning and compliance services, internal revenue service audit and appeals, mergers and acquisition issues, private letter rulings, inventory issues, and various other tax-related matters. Pavlik will continue to provide the same level of service to his clients as well as be involved with the leadership of the firm and continue in his role of chair of the partner group.
