Professional History:

Steve’s experience includes 18 years with the Grand Rapids office of Ernst & Young where he served as a principal. He has led AHP’s Grand Rapids office since its inception in 2003 and has worked with clients engaged in a variety of industries including financial institutions, manufacturing companies, service firms, and retail companies. Steve has extensive experience providing financial and tax planning services for entrepreneurial entities, their owners, and key executives.

Education:

Steve graduated from Aquinas College in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in accounting.

Other Activities:

Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He also is a member of the Economic Club of Grand Rapids and Association for Corporate Growth. He is a past officer with the Grand Rapids Kiwanis Club and the Kiwanis Foundation and currently serves as a volunteer for several community and charitable organizations including the OLC Education Foundation.
