Randy has over 27 years of auditing, accounting, and financial reporting experience and began his career with Ernst & Young. He has served clients in a wide variety of industries including publicly traded companies, manufacturing, financial institutions, governmental entities, not-for-profit entities, and education. Randy is involved in the firm’s quality control initiatives and performs many independent reviews of financial statement engagements prior to issuance. Randy leads the firm’s financial institution practice.

Professional History:

Randy has been with AHP since its inception in 1993. He began his career with Ernst & Whinney in Little Rock, Ark., and transferred to the Saginaw and Lansing offices of Ernst & Young in 1992. Randy is AHP’s education coordinator and has led many of the firm’s education seminars.

Education:

Randy graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1989.

Other Activities:

Randy is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Bay City Rotary. He serves on the MICPA’s Financial Institution Task Force, the Financial Institution Committee of Allinial Global, the AICPA’s Depository Institutions Expert Panel, and PDI Global’s Community Banking Advisor National Editorial Board. Randy is a past board and finance committee member of the American Red Cross and a board member for the Essexville-Hampton Little League. He coaches baseball and basketball in the Essexville-Hampton community.
