He is one of three partners in the AHP Midland office, formerly Burnside & Lang, P.C., and provides audit, accounting, tax, and consulting services to not-for-profit organizations and closely held businesses. Dan serves as the technical reviewer of assurance and accounting services and leads audit, assurance, and tax engagements for clients.

Professional History:

Dan began his career with Rehmann Group in 1974 and was promoted to principal before joining Burnside & Lang, P.C. in 1997 as partner. Burnside & Lang was integrated into AHP in 2009.

Education:

Dan is a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Other Activities:

Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Leadership Midland Program alumnus, Great Lakes Bay Regional Leadership Institute alumnus, 2009 chairman of the Midland Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and a board member of CBM Services, Inc. Dan also has served as a board member of the Girl Scouts of Mitten Bay, Midland Country Club, the Central Michigan Chapter of the Health Care Financial Management Association, and the Midland Chamber Foundation.
