Kellie has more than 16 years of public accounting experience. She came to AHP in 2009 when AHP merged with the Midland firm, Burnside & Lang PC. Kellie provides audit and tax services to a variety of business and individual clients in AHP’s Midland office, focusing on construction companies and non-profit organizations.

Stephanie M. Cleaver

Stephanie M. Cleaver / CPA / Partner

Stephanie has 18 years of public accounting experience. Stephanie’s area of expertise is in managing audit engagements for a number of industries, including higher education, not-for-profit, manufacturing, insurance companies, agriculture, closely-held businesses, and employee benefit plans. She is involved with the firm’s recruiting, staff educational training, and is a member of AHP’s audit committee.

James Demis Jr.

James Demis Jr. / CPA / Principal

Jim has over 40 years of public accounting experience. He is one of two principals in Andrews Hooper Pavlik’s Owosso office, formerly Demis & Wenzlick, P.C. Jim specializes in litigation support services and has been qualified as an expert in all court jurisdictions in Shiawassee County.

Laura M. Ebel

Laura M. Ebel / CPA, CVA, CGMA / Partner

Laura has more than 18 years of public accounting experience and began her career with AHP. She has successfully managed tax, review, and compilation engagements for not-for-profit organizations, manufacturing and transportation companies, financial institutions, and closely held businesses. Laura serves as the firm’s director of information technology. In addition to being a certified public accountant (CPA), Laura is a certified valuation analyst (CVA).

Jeffrey J. Fineis

Jeffrey J. Fineis / CPA, CGMA / Partner

Jeff has over 28 years of financial reporting and accounting experience, 23 of which have been with the offices of Ernst & Young and Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC serving the Greater Lansing area. He serves clients in a wide variety of industries including closely held businesses, governmental entities, financial institutions, not-for-profits, manufacturers, and insurance companies. Jeff serves as the engagement executive or independent technical reviewer for internal audit and independent audit engagements and is the engagement partner for internal audit engagements including SEC reporting entities.

Mark R. Freed

Mark R. Freed / CPA, CSEP / Partner

Mark has over 38 years of public accounting experience. He oversees audit engagements for not-for-profit organizations, construction companies, and governmental entities. Mark leads the firm’s construction and campaign finance practices. He is a certified specialist in estate planning (CSEP).

Carrie L. Hindmon

Carrie L. Hindmon / CPA, CSEP / Partner

Carrie has more than 18 years of public accounting experience. She came to AHP bringing over five years of tax compliance and consulting experience. Since joining AHP, Carrie has gained extensive experience in the areas of income tax preparation and compliance, estate planning, and trust planning. Carrie leads the tax practice in AHP’s Okemos office and is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP).

Roger E. Hitchcock

Roger E. Hitchcock / CPA / Partner

Roger has over 34 years of auditing, accounting, and financial reporting experience. He has served clients in a wide variety of industries including higher education, insurance, agribusiness, manufacturing, wholesale, governmental, not-for-profit, and employee benefit plans. Roger is involved in AHP's quality control initiatives and performs many independent reviews of financial statement engagements prior to issuance. Roger is also the designated audit quality partner for the firm with the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center.

Mark E. Hooper

Mark is a founding member of Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC. He is a former tax partner with Ernst & Young and has over 40 years of industry experience. Mark specializes in growth and succession planning for entrepreneurial organizations and their owners, with advanced knowledge of insurance and estate matters.

David B. Mikolajczak

David B. Mikolajczak / CPA, CSEP / Principal

Dave has over 42 years of industry experience in taxation with an emphasis on tax planning, estate planning, and business succession planning. He began his career with Arthur Andersen and has served a diverse group of individuals and closely held businesses. Dave has extensive experience with employee benefit consulting and not-for-profit entities. He also is a certified specialist in estate planning (CSEP).

Paulette (Polly) R. Miller

Polly has over 46 years of public accounting experience. She is a partner in Andrews Hooper Pavlik’s Ann Arbor office, formerly Miller & Associates, P.C. Polly specializes in business valuations, property settlements in divorces, business and tax planning, and has testified as an expert witness on multiple occasions.

Steve has over 32 years of experience, 18 of which were spent with Ernst & Young in Grand Rapids. He currently leads AHP’s Grand Rapids office and specializes in corporate and individual income tax as well as select services for entrepreneurial entities. His clients include organizations from various industries including financial, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, higher education, service, and not-for-profit entities.

Traci L. Moon

Traci L. Moon / CPA, CBA / Partner

Traci has more than 21 years of public accounting experience and began her career with AHP. She leads audit engagements for financial institutions, not-for-profits, construction and manufacturing companies, and institutions of higher education. Traci is involved in the firm’s recruiting efforts, serves as the firm’s director of marketing, CPA exam coordinator, and audit committee chair. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified bank auditor (CBA).

Randy J. Morse

Randy has over 27 years of auditing, accounting, and financial reporting experience and began his career with Ernst & Young. He has served clients in a wide variety of industries including publicly traded companies, manufacturing, financial institutions, governmental entities, not-for-profit entities, and education. Randy is involved in the firm’s quality control initiatives and performs many independent reviews of financial statement engagements prior to issuance. Randy leads the firm’s financial institution practice.

William J. Mulders Jr.

Bill has 33 years of industry experience and serves as the firm’s managing partner. He specializes in corporate and individual income tax as well as entrepreneurial services. Bill manages numerous review and compilation engagements with substantial experience in reporting requirements and tax planning. His corporate clients are in various industries including financial institutions, construction, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, transportation, and service. Bill is a Certified Valuation Analyst and leads the AHP business valuation practice.

Kim D. Pavlik

Kim, a founding member of Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC, has over 39 years of experience in serving accounting and tax clients. Kim began his career at Ernst & Young and specializes in corporate and individual income and estate tax matters with substantial experience in tax planning activities. His clients include organizations and individuals from various industries including oil and gas, financial institutions, manufacturing, construction, retail, wholesale, and service.

Duane M. Reyhl

Duane M. Reyhl / CPA, CGMA / Partner

Duane has 37 years of auditing and financial reporting experience, including six years as the technical director for the Peer Review Program of the California Society of CPAs. He leads audit, review, compilation, and peer review engagements for a variety of industries, including education, governmental entities, non-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans. He also performs fraud prevention and investigation services. Duane is the firm’s director of consulting and a SOAR Corporate Body Scan™ consultant.

Dan has over 40 years of public accounting experience. He provides audit, accounting, tax, and consulting services to not-for-profit organizations and closely held businesses.
