Update: New Mileage Rates - Effective January 2010

The IRS has announced 2010 standard mileage rates effective Jan. 1, 2010.

Here are the new rates:

• Business 50.0 cents per mile (compared to 55.0 cents for 2009)
• Charitable 14.0 cents per mile (no change for 2010)
• Medical and Moving 16.5 cents per mile (compared to 24.0 for 2009)
