News Release: AHP Announces Promotions and Certifications

Andrews Hooper & Pavlik (AHP) is pleased to announce promotions and certifications for the following staff members:
Megan L. Banfield has earned CPA certification. Banfield joined AHP in 2009 and has previous experience as a financial analyst for a food service distributor. She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Grand Valley State University. She is a former resident of Tecumseh and now resides in Grand Rapids.
Andrew V. Kersh has been promoted to senior accountant. Kersh joined the firm in 2008 as a staff accountant upon earning a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from Albion College. He previously held an internship with an accounting firm in Detroit. Outside of work, Kersh serves as board member for Habitat for Humanity in Lansing. Kersh is from East Tawas and currently lives in Okemos.
Evan A. Malowinski has successfully completed the Certified Information Systems Auditor exam, earning CISA certification. Malowinski joined the firm in October 2006 upon earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University. He is a senior accountant. Outside of work, Malowinski serves as secretary for the Bay City Jaycees. He is from Bay City and currently resides in Freeland.
