LORI APPOLD, CPA
Lori is the Client Services department senior manager in the Bay City office. She has been with the firm since 1988, starting out with Laine, Appold & Co. In her current role, Lori manages the financial accounting, payroll processing and tax return preparation for many of the firm's small business and professional clients. A graduate of Northwood University in Midland, MI she has a BA in Business Administration, Lori is a member of the AICPA, MACPA and the American Society of Women Accountants. In addition, she is a member of CFMA, the Bay Area Chamber Leads Roundtable and the Delta College Accounting Advisory Board.

MICHELLE DERIDDER, CPA
Michelle has over ten years of experience in public accounting specializing in corporate, partnership, and individual tax compliance and planning. She has worked with clients in a variety of industries including not-for-profit, manufacturing, agriculture, retail/wholesale and real estate management. Michelle is an active member of the AICPA, MACPA, the American Society of Women Accountants, and the Toastmasters International Organization.

SHELLY DORAN, CPA
Shelly has over 15 years of experience in public accounting, performing both tax and audit services.  More recently, Shelly has been specializing in tax compliance and planning for individuals and business entities.  She’s a member of the AHP Tax Process Committee and is responsible for much of the tax training for AHP tax professionals.  In addition to her public accounting experience, Shelly was an owner/operator and accountant for her own retail business for a number of years.  A graduate of Northwood University, Shelly is a member of the AICPA and MACPA.

DIANE DuFRESNE THOMPSON, CPA
Diane is a senior manager in the firm with 14 years experience serving the Saginaw Bay area with the Saginaw office of Ernst & Young, and most recently, the Bay City office of Laine, Appold & Co. She has performed audit, tax and consulting services for a wide range of clients. Diane's primary emphasis now is in the qualified retirement plan arena where she is the employee benefits manager of AHP Benefits, a related employee benefit services company. She specializes in the selection process, design and resulting administration of qualified retirement plans and cafeteria benefit plans. Diane is a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University and is a member of the AICPA, MACPA, the Saginaw Valley State University Annual Fund Committee, Bay City Noon Optimist Club and Studio 23/The Arts Center.

LAURA EBEL, CPA
Laura joined AHP in 1998 and specializes in corporate and personal tax, valuations and controller services. A graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, she became a CPA in 2000 and earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst in 2001. A native of Bay City, she is located in AHP’s Saginaw office.

ERIC F. GOOD, CPA
Eric is a senior manager in the Grand Rapids office.  He has over ten years of audit, accounting and tax experience in a wide variety of industries including colleges and universities, governmental, financial institutions, non-profit, manufacturing, employee benefit plans, and healthcare.  After graduating summa cum laude from Central Michigan University and passing all parts of the November 1994 CPA exam, Eric joined the firm’s Saginaw office, where he served until moving to West Michigan in 2001 to open the firm’s Grand Rapids office.  Eric is a member of the MACPA and AICPA, a graduate of Leadership Grand Rapids, and is actively involved with several civic and charitable organizations.

SCOT G. HOSKINS, CPA
Scot is a senior manager in the Greater Lansing office. Scot’s experience includes over seventeen years serving clients in a variety of industries including governmental, non-profit, and other entities. Governmental clients served include 10 counties, numerous cities, townships, villages, school districts and road commissions. He regularly attends specialized governmental and non-profit courses to keep current in the industry. A Michigan State University graduate, Scot joined the firm in June 1999. He was a past board member of MACPA Business Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Greater Lansing Chamber of Commerce.

TRACI MOON, CPA
Traci is a senior manager in the Saginaw office. She has over nine years experience in auditing, accounting and internal audit. Her audit experience includes financial reporting in a variety of industries such as financial institutions, colleges and universities and construction companies. Traci's internal audit experience currently consists of seven financial institutions. Traci graduated from Northwood University and is a member of the MACPA and the AICPA.  Traci is also a certified bank auditor. She demonstrates commitment to the community by her involvement with United Way of Midland County.

DUANE M. REYHL, CPA
Duane is a senior manager in the firm with more than 20 years of extensive audit and accounting experience that includes the areas of local governments, not-for-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, construction contracting, manufacturing and colleges and universities. He joined the firm in 1998, after returning from California where he had been a partner in a CPA firm and the technical director for the California Society of CPA’s Peer Review Program. Duane, a graduate of Michigan State University, also writes the AICPA's advanced peer reviewer training course and other professional education courses and has been a speaker at national conferences, including the AICPA Peer Review Conference and the National Judicial College. Duane is a member of the AICPA, MACPA, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and is the current chair of the MACPA's Accounting & Auditing Standards Task Force. He is a Saginaw Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and is the membership chair for Rotary District 6310 as well as immediate past president of the Rotary Club of Saginaw Sunrise.

PAUL ROUSH, CPA
Paul has over thirteen years of experience in corporate and public accounting tax environments.  Most recently he was a tax manager for a U. K. based multi-national firm where he was responsible for tax compliance, corporate structure and due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.  He specializes in tax issues unique to manufacturing companies in the automotive and aerospace industries.  Paul has vast experience in the area of due diligence for acquisition prospect targets and has implemented plans for the integration of new companies into a consolidated group, including the valuation of tax credits and the ability to accelerate and generate credits.  He has successfully defended tax filings before the IRS worth multiple millions.  Paul, a graduate of University of Michigan—Flint, is currently pursuing a Masters in Taxation.  He is also a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Chicago Tax Club.
