JEFFREY J. FINEIS, CPA

Jeff is a partner in the firm and has more than 20 years of financial reporting and accounting experience, including 20 years with the Lansing offices of Ernst & Young and Andrews Hooper & Pavlik. He has served clients in a wide variety of industries including insurance, governmental, financial institutions, not-for-profit, and manufacturing. Jeff joined the Lansing office of Ernst & Young in 1983 and is a graduate of Michigan State University. He manages numerous audit engagements. He has significant reporting experience and became a partner with the firm in 1996. Jeff is a member of the AICPA and the MACPA Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee.  Jeff serves on the Board of Directors and Chair of Finance Committee of the Capital Area United Way.

ROGER HITCHCOCK, CPA 

Roger is a partner in the firm's Auburn Hills office. He concentrates in the accounting and auditing areas, but is also significantly involved in the tax areas for his clients. Roger's industry focus includes manufacturing, agriculture, governmental entities, not-for-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, and non-traditional engagements. Roger started his career with a national CPA firm before joining Laine, Appold & Co. in 1983. Roger is a graduate of Central Michigan University and attended Mid Michigan Community College after service in the United States Air Force. Roger is a member of the AICPA and MACPA.

MARK E. HOOPER, CPA

Mark is a founding member of Andrews Hooper & Pavlik P.L.C. Mark was formerly a tax partner with Ernst & Young and has over 25 years of experience. He is currently in charge of our Greater Lansing office and serves clients in various industries with tax and business planning services. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, tax accounting methods, estate planning, and litigation support services. Mark joined the Lansing office of Ernst & Young in 1976 after graduating from Michigan State University. He was promoted to partner in 1987 and has been serving the Lansing area ever since. Mark is a member of the AICPA and MACPA.

EDWARD J. McKIBBON, CPA

Ed has more than 30 years experience serving businesses, individuals and not-for-profit organizations in accounting, auditing, operational and tax planning, business valuations, and real estate accounting and taxation. After graduation from Michigan State University, he started his career with a national firm. A resident of the Rochester Hills area since 1978, Ed has worked as a sole practitioner and in a partnership prior to joining Laine, Appold & Co, where he has managed the Auburn Hills office since 1980. In addition to his active involvement in MACPA committees, Ed is currently on the investment and finance committees for the Rochester Area Community Foundation where he has also been the treasurer and secretary. His prior community activities include chair of the Rochester Hills E.D.C., member of the Oakland County E.D.C. and treasurer of the Friends of Lake Orion Library. Ed is a member of the AICPA and MACPA.

DAVID B. MIKOLAJCZAK, CPA
Born in Bay City, Dave began his public accounting career with the Detroit office of Arthur Andersen in 1973. Dave joined Laine, Appold & Co., P.C. in 1976.  Dave graduated, summa cum laude, from Ferris State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. Dave’s primary practice area is taxation with an emphasis on tax planning, estate planning and business succession planning. His clients include a diverse group of individuals and family business owners. Dave has extensive experience in bankruptcy tax law, employee benefit consulting and charitable organizations. Dave is a member of the Northeast Michigan Estate Planning Council and the Mid Michigan Planned Giving Council and the Tax Division of the AICPA. He is a frequent speaker on tax issues and estate planning matters. Dave is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bay Medical Center Special Care Center, Mid Michigan Planned Giving Council, the Central High School Athletic Fund, Inc., and many other community organizations. He is also active in fund raising for many local organizations. His favorite leisure activities are watching his children participate in sports and playing golf. Dave is a member of the AICPA and MACPA.

STEPHEN MILLER, CPA
Stephen Miller joined the firm of Andrews Hooper & Pavlik as a partner in its Grand Rapids office, on January 1, 2003. Steve is a graduate of Aquinas College and a member of the AICPA and MACPA.  Steve's experience includes over 18 years with Ernst & Young LLP in their Grand Rapids office. His areas of expertise include corporate financial and tax planning for entrepreneurial entities, their owners and key executives in a variety of industries, including manufacturing companies, service firms, retail and financial institutions. Most recently, Steve has served as a Principal, leading the West Michigan state and local tax practice for Ernst & Young LLP. He is a past officer with the Grand Rapids Kiwanis Club and the Kiwanis Foundation and currently serves as a volunteer and resource for several community and charitable organizations. RANDY J. MORSE, CPA

Randy is a partner  with significant audit, accounting and consulting experience. Randy serves a variety of entities including financial institutions, colleges and universities, governmental, construction contractors, health care, and others. He has also assisted clients in SEC filings and major bond offerings. Randy is also the firm's education coordinator. Randy began his career with Ernst & Whinney in Little Rock and joined the Saginaw office of Ernst & Young in 1992. Randy is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Randy is involved in Rotary, Chamber of Commerce activities and his church.  Randy's outside interests include coaching youth sports, hunting and spending time with his family. Randy is a member of the AICPA and MACPA.

WILLIAM J. MULDERS, JR., CPA/CVA

Bill is a partner in the firm and specializes in corporate and individual income tax matters and entrepreneurial services. He manages numerous review and compilation engagements with substantial experience in reporting requirements and tax planning. As a Certified Valuation Analyst, he leads our business valuation practice. Bill joined the Saginaw office of Ernst & Young in 1983 upon graduating summa cum laude from Saginaw Valley State University. He also holds an MBA from SVSU. He became a partner with AHP in 1994. Bill is a member of the AICPA , MACPA and NACVA.

Kim joined the Saginaw office of Ernst & Young upon graduating summa cum laude from Central Michigan University in 1977. Kim is also a past president of the Community Banking Advisory Network.
