DEAN BROWN
Dean is manager of the Technology and Information Services For AHP Consulting based in the Saginaw office, he serves clients throughout the state with network services and Microsoft software support.  Dean has extensive design and implementation experience working with a wide variety of systems including Microsoft and Unix, network types including WANs, LANs and VPNs.  He has experience in Database Administration with both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.  He is experienced in business need analysis, and matching computer solutions to the needs.  Dean has over 20 years of experience in the technology field.  He was previously employed with Dow Corning where he served in the capacity of Global Process Information System Administrator, Database Administration Team Leader, Development Team Leader, and as a senior systems analyst in the technology and computer systems area.  Dean graduated from Concordia College, in Illinois, where he received a Bachelor's degree.  He has attained the professional credentials of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and the premier certification of Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) and certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

COLLEEN CAVANAUGH, CPA
Colleen Cavanaugh joined AHP in 2001 as a staff accountant and is presently an accounting manager, specializing in the audit of not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities, employee benefit plans and labor unions.  She earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Walsh College Summa Cum Laude and was the recipient of the 1998 Financial Executive Institute Award. Colleen has many years experience in the accounting field having worked for a national accounting firm and the Michigan conference of Teamsters Welfare Fund.  She is a member of the MACPA, AICPA, and Delta Mu Delta.  She is active in chamber activities and is a member of the Clarkston Area Optimist Club.

STEPHANIE CLEAVER, CPA
Stephanie has over 6 years experience in public accounting, all with AHP.  She specializes in audit and accounting services and has been instrumental in developing and managing the audit practice for the Grand Rapids office.  Her client base includes community colleges, not-for-profits, insurance companies and manufacturing companies.   A graduate of Ferris State University, she became a CPA in 2000.  Stephanie is a member of the AICPA and MACPA.

CARRIE HINDMON, CPA
Carrie has over 7 years experience as a tax professional.  She specializes in tax compliance, research and planning for both businesses and individuals.  A graduate of Michigan State University, Carrie is a member of the Haslett-Okemos Rotary Club, Toastmasters, AICPA and MACPA.

DAVID SPENCER, CPA
David Spencer joined AHP in 2005.  He has over eight years experience in tax planning and preparation with a national CPA firm.  His background includes tax research, planning and consulting, and the review of corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns.  He is also involved with employee benefit plan reviews, trust returns and gift and estate tax preparation.  Prior to joining AHP David had 10 years of experience in the accounting and tax field at a life and casualty company.  David earned his bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut, and MBA at the University of Hartford and his masters degree in taxation from the University of New Haven.
