Our Beginning

October 1, 1993, was a special day . . . for that was the day our firm was born! Three former Ernst & Young partners (two in Saginaw and one in Lansing) came together with excitement and anticipation and formed Andrews Hooper & Pavlik P.L.C. The three founding partners are Jim Andrews, Mark Hooper, and Kim Pavlik. Although we have offices in multiple cities, we operate as one office to the extent possible. Based upon the initial success of the firm, Bill Mulders and Jeff Fineis were quickly named partners as well. For simplicity, the original name has been and will continue to be maintained.

Growth

Four other groups have joined us since our founding. In 1998, the Lansing office of Stewart, Beauvais & Whipple merged with the firm. In 1999, two firms joined us: Murl Hoppe, CPA, P.C. and PM Group-Saginaw.  Laine Appold Co., P.C. joined the firm January 1, 2000 when our two firms merged. As a result of the merger, Laine Appold's directors (Dennis Serafini, Walt Moore, Dave Mikolajczak, Ed McKibbon, Don Zehnder, and Drew Zehnder) became partners in the firm. A year latter, Randy Morse was added as a partner. Gary Riedlinger and Roger Hitchcock were added as partners January 1, 2002.  Steve Miller became a partner in our Grand Rapids office in January 2003.

Poised for the Future

While our firm's strength starts with our Partners, they are only the tip of the iceberg. AHP is proud of its large professional staff comprised of individuals who possess a wide range of talent, skills and experience.

We've grown significantly since our inception . . . and we continue to expand our scope of services and areas of specialization.
